random rant of the day that i didn’t know where else to write down at this exact moment in time: so you break up with someone because they don’t have enough money for you? when they’re working every day and pay all their bills. is it not about a persons character anymore? being with someone who you get along with? supporting each other through the good and the bad? you apparently had a one track mind only caring about money and so called ‘success’. you break up with someone because they’re not sure what they want to do for a career yet they are taking the steps to sign up for school and figure it out? you call someone a failure when they’re trying their hardest and have their whole life ahead of them. you tell someone you’ll never leave them yet you run away the second problems arise. you write notes saying you’ll love someone forever, you tell them one day you’re going to put a ring on their finger, you spent months searching for a new place together, you do everything together, you’re best friends, you promise them the world, you make them believe every word you say, you allow someone to show you their true self and break down their walls. then you decide one random day that you don’t love them anymore and leave them. they’ll never believe the same lies again. you crushed their soul. you made them cry. you changed their whole life in a matter of days with only a few words said and no explanations. now they’re left constantly wondering, confused, and heartbroken. they compare you to everyone they meet. they think about you every day, constantly. they wish they never met you. to loved and have lost is not better than to never have loved at all… and you lost the best connection to a person and best friend you ever had. well that person is moving on, and they’re better off without you because you never believed in them. so they’ll have to believe in their self.
